Camp 'N' Fish is located on the banks of the Brazos River. The water level of the river varies, depending primarily whether the lakes above us (Possum Kingdom and Lake Granbury) are letting water out.
You can check the major newspapers for water levels or call the Brazos River Authority in Granbury 817-326-3484 to check on expected water flow.
Generally, our area of the river
is shallow, with a sandy/gravel bottom. It is a great place for families with
small children to wade, swim, play, fish, skip stones in the water. Or, there
are deeper holes up and down the river you can find for more serious fishing.
